If life ever needed a “duvet day”, today is surely it. Bad enough that we must endure the annual slow-moving misery of January, but it’s added to this year by the ghastly reality of climate change, techno terror in the form of AI and a turbulent world where the possibility of nuclear annihilation is no longer a faraway nightmare.
