The pic is being produced by Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Bad Robot. As we told you first Jill Culton and Wicked‘s Jon M. Chu are co-directing with songs by Oscar winners Benj Paske and Justin Paul. Rob Lieber (Peter Rabbit) is adapting the book. Bad Robot’s J.J. Abrams is producing.
The book is the blueprint for a globetrotting animated musical which follows a young adventurer as they journey the joys and heartaches, and the peaks and the valleys of life.
