Absentee PM Carney is all around the world but never focused on Canadians, for that matter. Recently speaking at the UN in NYC then jetting off to Europe once again on the taxpayers tab for important meetings we all assume. Things are critical in Canada for everyone. The trade deal you promised with Trump with a July 21 deadline has come and gone. Recognizing Palestine, are you kidding? The disrespect to run a minority government without a budget so far says it all. You’re hurting not helping us.

Perhaps Vladimir Putin wants to draw NATO into the Ukraine conflict, so that once Russia is defeated, they can call for the world to pay reparations for attacking them. Rebuild Russia at the cost to the world. No concern for Ukraine. Make Russia Great Again! (Let me pull my tongue out of my cheek.)

Everyone supports the concept of free speech but most realize it has limits. Given that the two political parties in the U.S.A. currently exist in a tinderbox situation, an extremely derogatory comment levelled at a revered supporter of one party could be akin in its result to falsely shouting fire in a crowded building.

We are Canadian, in our 70s and have enjoyed the CFL for many, many years, but we will not be enjoying it again. Why would you change the rules without input from players, coaches and real Canadian fans? I am a woman and have watched this game since I can remember and we were different and great. Never again. You have lost my vote, CFL, and my support. I will now watch real football played throughout the world, not just in the U.S.

Now that Mark Carney has decided to recognize Palestine, will he be recognizing the Houthis as the legitimate government of Yemen next? Wouldn’t it be appropriate for Israel to recognize Quebec as an independent state?
