CONVENTIONAL EDUCATION
For such a smart, educated economist, Mark Carney sure seems genuinely puzzled. He has recently questioned why every question and discussion regarding Canada’s energy industry revolves around pipelines, stating, “It’s remarkable. In some circles, this conversation starts and ends with pipelines.” I thought I could add some perspective to help the prime minister understand the situation better. Conventional energy is our bread and butter, that is far and away Canada’s largest industry, contributing hundreds of billions to our economy annually, despite Liberal attempts to neuter it over the last decade. That this fact is so perplexing to our PM is not an encouraging sign for our economy or our country.

NO MORE MR. DRESSUP
Not a good time to be recycled Liberal cabinet ministers. The majority of Canadians west of Ontario know the federal Liberals are the cause of lots of pain in Canada. New Canadians are much indebted to the federal Liberals for allowing them into Canada. One good thing about the Calgary Stampede, it will not have a Mr. Dressup Photo Op clowning about. Canada should welcome Donald Trump in Alberta for helping Governor Trudeau resign for the banker.

NOT IMMUNE
The ease with which the uneducated find online views that support their own misguided and wrong and incomplete ideas is scarry. What’s even more scary is that these same people are allowed to vote and elect foolish MPs and MLAs to represent and work to further their obnoxious views. Alberta PC’s have us in $120-billion debt territory and we scream at the federal Liberal government, accusing them of mismanagement. Shame, shame, shame.

BOUNDLESS CRUELTY
Trump is deporting men to Venezuela without due process of Habeas Corpus, most with no criminal record, but now his administration has decided to deport a four-year-old girl to Mexico who was getting life-saving humanitarian aid in California for a lethal condition called short bowel syndrome. Mexico offers no such treatment. The Trump administration knows no bounds of cruelty.
