Meet and greet with the King
The royal visit was short, memorable and sweet. For many Canadians it was a momentary treat from the ongoing news about conceit and deceit. His presence inspired Canada to be more upbeat and I for one think having a King is rather neat, even if Charles is a member of the wealthy elite.

War cries
“Although not perfect” was the Liberal language in the throne speech used to describe Canada’s global trade. The words ’although not perfect’ were a total dismissal of Alberta and a slap in the face to all Albertans. There was no commitment to build a pipeline to tidewater, meaning Alberta is cut off from selling oil to Europe. Albertans are being asked to be content with a dysfunctional Canadian pipeline system that can’t even deliver oil across Canada, or to our east coast for global export. The words ‘although not perfect’ are a declaration of war against Alberta! The 2026 Independence Referendum cannot come soon enough for Albertans!

About time they got intelligence
It’s great to see that Mayor Jyoti Gondek is finally proposing to bring some intelligence to City Hall, albeit it being artificial intelligence. If it proves to be successful in street safety programs maybe they can extend it to little things like taxes, city planning, roadways, permitting, etc.

Not the time for A.I.
I think it is probably a good idea to use artificial intelligence to help with implementing traffic safety, since if the mayor and the hateful eight were left to their designs, no valid, insightful plans would ever come to fruition. Mayor Gondek, pull your head out of wherever you have it stuck, get some real human experts, i.e. frontline police officers for their recommendations, not some suspect computer generated plan that would do absolutely nothing to solve the problem.
