Based on the latest news from PM Carney and his federal Liberals, does Premier Smith want to continue to cozy-up to Carney and the Liberals in Ottawa? It would appear that Smith, the UCP government and the oil and gas industry of Alberta are all destined to be caught holding the Old Maid card again. The 40-year plus saga of Trudeau’s National Energy Policy continues to cause havoc here in Alberta, but under a new 2025 guise.

Back to work, finally

So, Sept. 15 and Parliament is actually back at work. That’s the first time in a year, isn’t it? Sept. 17 last year was the day that the Conservative filibuster began, if memory serves. If you remember, that was because the Trudeau Liberals refused to hand over documents demanded by Parliament, and demanded by the Speaker as well. Same old crew, back again, lecturing us on all their accomplishments, and Canadian fools vote them in. For shame!

Free Alberta

Parti Quebecois Leader Paul Plamondon told leaders of Alberta’s pro-independence movement that he’ll recognize a free and independent Alberta if he becomes Quebec’s premier. The question is, will he, at that point, allow Alberta to run a pipeline through Quebec? Surely that would become a prerequisite. In which case, why would Alberta have to leave?

TIM CONWAY

(If he agrees to that, he likely won’t get elected.)

Psychos celebrate

The psychos out there who think it’s entertaining to celebrate the assassination of Charlie Kirk should face some stiff consequences. No matter who you agree or disagree with, this kind of reaction demonstrates the absolute disgustingly depraved person you truly are. I cry for Charlie Kirk, his wife and his two young children. I would never celebrate anyone’s tragedy no matter how much I might dislike them. These people should take a look in the mirror to see how truly pathetic they have become.

GISELE LAVICTOIRE

(It’s unsettling how quickly some folks lose their humanity)
