The Salter Dual View 7L Air Fryer is priced at €74.99, reduced from €89.99.

The impressive 2300w power air fryer comes with six cooking functions that allow you to fry, bake, dehydrate, roast and even reheat a variety of foods with ease.

It comes with a convenient digital LED touch display that allows you to set your desired temperature and cooking times.

The easy-viewing window makes checking on your food effortless, while the removable non-stick cooking tray ensures easy serving and cleaning.

Shoppers can save up to 77 per cent off their energy bill by using this air fryer compared to the energy used per kg of chicken using a 1.8kw electric oven.

Buying the air fryer comes with its innovative removable divider, meaning shoppers can choose whether they want to use a large 7L cooking tray or split it in half for two 3.5L trays.

And the best thing is that the trays are non-stick coated for easy cleaning.

The air fryer is a dupe of the Ninja Foodie Dual Zone Air Fryer, which is currently retailing at eye-watering €199.99.

This means that shoppers get to save up to €125 when buying the Lidl Ireland’s dupe.

The air fryer is now available to purchase in stores nationwide for a limited time.

DYSON VACUUM DUPE

Elsewhere, Aldi Ireland fans are rushing to buy a Dyson vacuum dupe in the middle aisle – and it’s €250 cheaper.

The vacuum stick is set to hit stores nationwide this week for €59.99.

This bargain buy is a cordless vacuum that runs on batteries, making it perfect to clean those hard-to-reach areas of your home.

The product is very similar to the Dyson V8 advanced vacuum, which is currently retailing for a whopping €299.99 on the Dyson website, reduced from €399.99.

This means the Aldi version will save you almost €250.

Describing the SpecialBuy on their website, Aldi said: “Get maximum level cleaning with minimal storage space with this convenient Vacuum Stick.”

It features a powerful DC motor, ensuring it’s capable of doing all of your household cleaning duties.

The bargain buy has a Max Level operating time of 18 minutes and an Eco Level operating time of 32 minutes.

And it comes with a dust container and only takes five hours to fully charge.

THE HISTORY OF LIDL IN IRELAND

LIDL first opened in Germany in 1973.

Back then, it employed just three people, stocking 500 product lines.

The first Irish store, located just off Molesworth Street in Dublin, was opened in 1999.

This was Lidl’s first entry into the Irish grocery market.

Then, Lidl opened more stores in 2000, in Limerick, Letterkenny, Mullingar, Athlone, Cavan, Ballinasloe and Portlaoise.

Now, the retailer has over 180 stores and three distribution centres, employing over 6,000 people.

They work with a network of more than 260 Irish suppliers from the communities they operate in.
