In “Mrs. Weber,” the character of the historical story feels rushed and disjointed. We meet Cassie’s mother, Constance, who is searching for a rare spider in Peru, which ultimately leads to her death. This tragic event sets the stage for the future of Cassie, who inherits her mother’s abilities after being bitten by the same spider.
There is also a big problem. The scenes drag on without any real sense of urgency, and the action scenes lack the excitement and tension that are hallmarks of the superhero genre.

Dakota Johnson was cast as Cassie, she was disappointed by the weak script and poor acting. The supporting cast, including Sydney Sweeney and Isabela Merced, do their best but are ultimately overwhelmed by the film’s many shortcomings.After
