A major power outage disrupted office workers in Melbourne’s CBD mid-way through the workday.
The lights and power went off about 1.30pm on Tuesday, with The Age’s office at 717 Bourke Street, Docklands, among those affected.
About 1100 customers were off supply in Melbourne’s CBD and Docklands during the outage, according to electricity provider CitiPower.
Trains and trams continued to operate throughout the outage.
The outage was fixed about 2.15pm on Tuesday. The cause is still being investigated.
