Man critically stabbed during armed robbery overnight in Auburn Gresham​on February 4, 2025 at 2:02 pm

Chicago police discovered a 35-year-old man critically stabbed overnight in an armed robbery in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

Shortly before 11:30 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a call in the 7800 block of South Wood Street and found a man with a stab wound to his throat and bruising to his face. The man told police he was attacked by three people who made off with his belongings.

The victim was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition.

No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
