A man was injured in a stabbing in Surrey’s Newton neighbourhood Wednesday night.

Surrey Police Service says at about 6:30 p.m., emergency crews were called out to a stabbing in the 7300-block of 128th Street.

When they arrived, the officers found one man suffering from a stab wound. He was treated by firefighters and paramedics before taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

SPS officers have arrested three suspects. Police believe this was a targeted attack.
