Police confirmed a man was found dead in the 2900-block of Shermer Road.
NORTHBROOK, Ill. (WLS) — A man died after being struck by a car in the north suburbs on Thursday morning, police say.

ABC7’s cameras captured as police closed Shermer Road south of Willow Road in Northbrook.
Police confirmed a man was found dead in the 2900-block of Shermer Road.
The man was walking in the area when he was hit by a vehicle, police said.
The driver did not stay at the scene.
Roads reopened around 8 a.m.
No other information regarding the vicitm or suspect vehicle was released.
