Man shot outside of O’Hare International Airport, police say​on March 12, 2025 at 12:41 pm

A 25-year-old man was shot outside of O’Hare International Airport early Wednesday morning following an argument between two people, according to Chicago police.

During the argument, which took place on a street outside of Terminal 2, shots were fired, police say. The victim sustained two gunshot wounds to his lower body and was transported to Lutheran General Hospital, where police say he is listed in stable condition.

Lower-level arrival lanes at all terminals were fully open by 5:15 a.m., O’Hare said in a statement. Terminal 2 includes Air Canada, Alaska Airlines and JetBlue.

Police said they another person is being interviewed and they are continuing to investigate.
