Toronto Police say the assault occurred in the area of College St. and Dovercourt Rd. around 7:45 p.m. on March 14.

“It is alleged that the victim, a parking enforcement officer (PEO), was conducting enforcement in the area,” Const. Sinderela Chung said in a statement Wednesday.

A man who was walking eastbound approached the PEO from the sidewalk and assaulted him, she said, adding the assailant then took off westbound.
