Miami-Dade commissioners met on Tuesday and their agenda included a vote on whether or not the county’s public drinking water should have fluoride. Commissioner Roberto Gonzalez sided with Florida’s surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, who recommended its removal from the public water supplies. If commissioners vote to ban it, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava will have to decide whether or not to veto the legislation.
