NFL To Drop “End Racism” Phrase From Super Bowl End Zone & Instead Feature “Choose Love”​on February 5, 2025 at 4:49 am

The NFL is removing the “End Racism” phrase from the end zone at Caesars Superdome, where Super Bowl LIX will occur in a match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.

This will mark the first time the stenciled message will not be featured since February 2021. Instead, the NFL will feature the phrase slogan “Choose Love.”

“Teams have used on the field this year ‘Vote,’ ‘End Racism,’ ‘Stop Hate,’ and ‘Choose Love.’ This is part of the NFL’s Inspire Change,” NFL spokesperson Bryan McCarthy said in a statement to NBC News.

In the January AFC Championship game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills, the slogan on their end zone was “Choose Love.”

“The Super Bowl is often a snapshot in time and the NFL is in a unique position to capture and lift the imagination of the country,” McCarthy added.

McCarthy said that the phrase “Choose Love is appropriate to use as our country has endured in recent weeks wildfires in southern California, the terrorist attack here in New Orleans, the plane and helicopter crash near our nation’s capital, and the plane crash in Philadelphia.”

The Athletic reports that the other side of the field will feature the phrase “It Takes All of Us.”

According to CNN, Donald Trump is expected to attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans. Trump is also expected to do a Super Bowl pregame interview and chose Fox News to do it with.
