Officers found an unconscious man in a bus at the Saddletowne CTrain station suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound.

The victim was rushed to hospital in life threatening condition.

Investigators said the victim was picked up at the Rundle LRT station and officers canvassing the area located a blood trail and followed it to a residence in the 800 block of Rundlehorn Circle N.E.

Two people of interest were arrested at the home but no charges have been laid yet, police said in an advisory to media.

The victim has since undergone emergency surgery and is in critical condition.
