(KRON) — A pedestrian was killed after a Saturday evening crash in Sunnyvale, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety announced in a news release. The crash happened around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Columbia Avenue and N. Fair Oaks Avenue.
First responders arrived at the scene and located the pedestrian suffering from major injuries, authorities said. The victim was taken to the hospital where they later died.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, according to Sunnyvale DPS.
