Phillip Quinlan, Event Manager with Spinal Injuries Ireland, acted as MC on the night and introduced the keynote speaker, former Garda Síochána Ombudsman commissioner and former RTE journalist, Kieran Fitzgerald, who was left with a spinal injury after a fall on holidays in Spain nine years ago.

Along with a three-course lunch, guests were invited to take part in a live auction on the day with some brilliant prizes up for grabs including a cask of Powerscourt Whiskey, a lunch at The Cow Pub & Kitchen in Ballsbridge, and garden furniture from Outdoor Living.ie.

To continue to provide its vital services, Spinal Injuries Ireland needs to raise in excess of €1million in fundraising throughout the year and guests dug deep on the night raising over €100,000.

The lunch was followed by more entertainment with live music from Spring Break that kept the party going into the night.
