Leo Woodall’s lates project, the Apple TV+ series Prime Target, has started to add up on the streamer since its release in January.
The adrenaline-packed series, produced by New Regency with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions, takes viewers deep into the world of complex mathematics as well as how mathematicians give the NSA reason to monitor them.

The first two episodes of the action thriller series premiered on the streamer Wednesday, January 22.
The first season of the series contains eight episodes.

The series stars Leo Woodall in a very different role from his previous projects: The White Lotus Season 2 and Netflix’s One Day television series adaptation. He plays cerebral post-graduate student Edward Brooks. Quintessa Swindell (Black Adam) stars as NSA agent Taylah Sanders whose recon brings her to team up with Brooks. The series also includes Stephen Rea (The Crying Game), David Morrissey (Sherwood), Martha Plimpton (The Regime), Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen), Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones), Ali Suliman (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), Fra Fee (Rebel Moon) and Joseph Mydell (The Eternal Daughter).
Woodall’s brilliant and intense math student won’t give up until he determines whether there are sequences in prime numbers, but this theory has been pursued before, and it’s in fact very dangerous information. As Ed continues to seek answers to his questions despite suspicious activity happening around him, he comes into contact with NSA agent Taylah Sanders (Swindell), who has been surveilling him and his work. Both Sanders and Brooks must grapple with their morality, or lack of, as they work together to determine why Brooks’ research is under heavy scrutiny by the CIA, FBI and other flobal security agencies.
