Molly-Mae’s bestie Maura Higgins took to social media to praise her former Love Island co-star, as she posed for snaps with her at the event.

‘Tonight I get to watch my girl in a cinema,’ she wrote, sharing a snap of posters and cardboard signs with Molly-Mae’s face printed across them.

Maura then shared a video of the two ladies laughing together as they posed in front of the documentary’s logo at the premiere. ‘Proud, proud, proud,’ she wrote, at the bottom of the clip.

The Longford woman wasn’t the only person showing up for Molly-Mae, with her mum Debbie Gordon, her dad Steve Hague, and sister Zoe also in attendance. The reality star’s mum, who usually stays out of the spotlight, is set to feature heavily in the series.

Molly-Mae opened up about the show ahead of its release, explaining it is ‘definitely so much more than a break-up documentary.’

‘Obviously, we do talk about the breakup and we’re very honest in what we share about the breakup but it’s so much more than that,’ she revealed. ‘It focuses on parts of my life that I haven’t really delved into before, at the minute we’re still filming, but we touch on motherhood, business, body confidence, and doing all of that whilst having a 2-year-old.’

Molly-Mae also explained why she decided to split the series into two separate drops, with the first three episodes dropping at midnight on Friday, and the rest arriving on Amazon Prime Video in the spring.

‘I think the reason we did the two drops was because a lot of the topics we’ve touched on in the first few episodes are very current and they are ongoing and it’s real life,’ she said. ‘I think I’m such a heart-on-my-sleeve kind of girl that like I really wanted to share that honesty with my audience.’
