A killer event
A criminologist and serial killer expert will delve into the minds of the world’s most notorious murderers on Saturday, March 1, at Campbell’s Heritage Theatre.
Dr. Scott Bonn will explain why the majority of serial killers are either psychopaths or sociopaths, how the two differ and the powerful influences of nature and nurture on the development of fledgling serial killers. He’ll also outline how and why serial killers are able to avoid apprehension, blend into a crowd and become invisible.
Bonn will peer into the psyches of Dennis Rader (aka the BTK Strangler), David Berkowitz (Son of Sam), Rex Heuermann (the alleged Long Island Serial Killer), Jeffery Dahmer and others—some based on his actual experiences with the killers.
His show, which starts at 8 p.m., also features and Q&A session with the audience. The show is recommended for adults only. Tickets are $45-$55 plus a $4 facility fee at https://www.campbellca.gov/560/Ticket-Information.
