Subway service resumed after power restored near Columbus Circle​on January 17, 2025 at 10:44 am

The MTA said B and C trains had been suspended in both directions due to a loss of a third-rail power near 59th Street Columbus Circle.

West side subway lines resumed operations after power problems at Columbus Circle delayed the evening commute.

MANHATTAN, New York (WABC) — Service on multiple subway lines in Manhattan has resumed after power problems impacted the evening commute on Thursday.

The MTA said B and C trains had been suspended in both directions due to a loss of a third-rail power near 59th Street Columbus Circle.

A, B, C and D trains had also stopped running between 125th Street and 59th Street Columbus Circle.
