A suspected burglar was arrested overnight after being found by police inside a retail business in the Chatham neighborhood.
Shortly before 3 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a call of a burglary at a business in the 8600 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue where someone entered through a rear door, police said. During a search of the business a man was discovered and was placed into custody.
The burglar was taken to an area hospital as a precaution and charges were pending.
