Jeremiah Dordolle appeared in bond court before Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Mindy Glazer, where he faces one count of attempted felony murder with a firearm, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and possession of a firearm by a delinquent.

The shooting happened on March 5 along Northwest Fifth Avenue near 15th Street.

According to police, the 15-year-old male victim was walking down the street when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up beside him.

After a brief exchange with the occupants, police said the car drove away, only to return moments later.

They said someone inside opened fire, striking the victim in the calf. He managed to run two blocks before collapsing and was later airlifted to the hospital.

Neighbors who witnessed the shooting told Local 10 News they were sitting outside when bullets started flying.

Though no one else was hurt, stray rounds struck nearby property, including a pink toy car belonging to a baby girl.

“I’m scared, and I just thank God that my little baby ain’t get hit,” said a neighbor.

Investigators say the victim later identified Dordolle in a photo lineup as one of the shooters.

The judge ruled there was probable cause and granted the state’s motion for pretrial detention.

As of Friday, Dordolle is being held without bond at the Metrowest Detention Center.

Records show he has a court hearing scheduled for Monday.
