There was no shortage of glitz and glamour when the 82nd Golden Globe Awards took over the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Sunday.
From the looks of it, many of the attendees seemed to take the evening’s theme literally, with Mindy Kaling, Cate Blanchett and Mikey Madison among those who turned up in glitzy gold dresses. Others, like Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman, opted for shimmering silver.

As for host Nikki Glaser, she went a step further with the trend by alternating between gold and silver looks at various points throughout the ceremony.
With “Wicked” having dominated the box office over the holidays, all eyes were on the stars of the smash movie musical, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who eschewed their signature green and pink ensembles in favor of old Hollywood glamour, courtesy of Louis Vuitton and Givenchy, respectively.
And while there was no shortage of classic tuxedos, many men went bold, too. Both Andrew Scott and Jeremy Strong wowed in pastels, while Colman Domingo turned his Valentino ensemble up a notch with an oh-so-chic silk tie.
