The Conservatives unveiled their newest platform position on Monday: a ‘Canada First’ energy corridor.

The plan intends to fast-track the approval process for commodities infrastructure across the country, including railways, pipelines and transmission lines.

This transportation corridor is intended to allow seamless transportation of commodities within Canada, and not relying on transportation through the United States.

WHERE THE LEADERS ARE MONDAY

Liberal Leader Mark Carney is expected to campaign in the Toronto area today while Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre heads to New Brunswick.

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh is set to start the day in Victoria before travelling to Edmonton.
