The Wildlife Festival is an interactive experience highlighting animals and their habitats. Visitors of all ages can meet an ant eater, a slot, baby kangaroos and more. The three exhibits featured are Destination Africa, Depths of the Jungle and Diversity of Living Things. There is a special adults-only night for Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. with adults-only programming.

For Valentine’s Day, Norquay ski hill is hosting an 18+ speed-dating event for those looking for someone special, or even just a ski buddy. While going up the list, visitors will have the chance to chat and see if there’s a spark. The conversation can continue at the top, or head back down and try your luck with someone else. There will also be bingo in the Lone Pine Pub and a mixer with a live DJ at 9 p.m. A free shuttle service will run between Banff and Norquay.

Memorial March for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls

Scarboro United Church is hosting the 17th annual Memorial March for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls on Feb. 14. This march is held to honour all women, girls, Two Spirit and all peoples who have been murdered, have disappeared and those who continue to be exploited. Friends and family of those we have lost will be in attendance, along with hundreds of other community members. It is also meant to draw attention to the disproportionate numbers of Indigenous women, girls and Two Spirit who are no longer with us.
