DALLAS — A truck with a trailer got stuck in an apparent sinkhole in Dallas on Monday morning.
The incident happened around 9:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Riverway Drive in southeast Dallas, near North Prairie Creek Road and Bruton Road.
Video footage from witnesses at the scene showed a truck’s trailer that was stuck in a sinkhole. Helicopter footage later showed a truck that had been towed near the sinkhole and the hole that had opened up in the middle of the road.
It wasn’t yet known if any injuries were initially reported. Dallas police had the road blocked off.
