A student at the University of Galway has been selected for the first-ever Gaisce Youth Ambassador Panel.
Sonya Naumova is one of the twelve members of the new panel, which aims to raise greater awareness of the awards and encourage involvement.
Panel members will also be able to take a range of training programmes, including leadership skills, inclusion, diversity and media training.
