(KRON) – A Tesla slammed into a plant store in San Francisco on Sunday, according to The Mellow store owners.

Shortly after The Mellow opened at noon, a Tesla sedan struck the side of the plant store. The Mellow co-owner Lorena Cortez said customers were inside of the establishment.

“Police were called and arrived quickly but no report was filed since the Tesla that ran into our store corner was our property manager & his wife arriving to their office,” said Cortez.

According to The Mellow employees, the store closed four hours early due to the shock of the collision. The Mellow told KRON4 the early closure was “sad it happened on a busy day since sales have been slow for us lately.”

The store says the brick and metal gates will need to be repaired.

The store confirmed no one was injured in the crash. Besides the repairs needed, there were no additional items damaged.   (KRON) – A Tesla slammed into a plant store in San Francisco on Sunday, according to The Mellow store owners.
