VOGUE Williams has admitted she found it “emotionally difficult” to write her new tell-all book.
The Irish model is set to release her very own autobiography this May 22 – and it looks like readers will be getting a juicy deep dive into the star‘s past.
Vogue previously said that the book launch was a major “pinch-me moment” in her career.
With the release date just around the corner, the 39-year-old took to Instagram to answer some burning questions.
One follower asked if Vogue found any memories difficult to write about.
The Dublin beauty answered: “Yes, I did find a lot of the book difficult to write. I took breaks when writing parts that were a bit harder emotionally.”
Vogue admitted she also “cried” while recording the audio book and added: “It was so embarrassing, I was just sitting there crying.”
The mum-of-three continued: “It also made me realise a lot of things about myself, which was pretty interesting.”
When asked why she decided to take the plunge and write her own book, the TV star responded: “I really just enjoyed the process of writing.”
The podcaster revealed that she was offered a book deal, but was leaning more towards the fiction genre.
She explained: “So in order to write fiction, I had to write a memoir, but I wanted to write a really fun one.
“I wanted people to know things about me that they never knew, because obviously with the podcast there is a lot out there, but this is a different kind of book.”
Vogue told followers that the book dives into “deeper topics” and added: “I write about things that I’ve gone through that were quite hard in my life.”
She confessed: “Some things Spencer didn’t even know about me until he read the book, so I just wanted to show a different side to me.
“I’m talking about things from my past, stuff about my relationships, my anxiety and of course loads of funny stories that I genuinely haven’t shared before.”
GETTING INTO TROUBLE
Later, Vogue admitted she “suffers from oversharing” and “can’t stop herself.”
She laughed: “I haven’t got myself into too much trouble yet, but the book might just do that for me.”
Vogue then told how she is “so excited” as she explained: “Everything’s in there.” I wanted it to be fun, upbeat.
“I hope you love reading it. I’ve absolutely loved writing it.”
