For anyone reliant on caffeine to get their morning started, the Easter break poses quite the challenge.
While many of Brisbane’s businesses will shut their doors for certain days across the weekend and operate under reduced hours, there’s still plenty of hope for foodies.
Whether you’re on the hunt for a brunch spot or a sunset drink on the river, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite local restaurants and cafés staying open for the entire long weekend.
This is not a comprehensive list, and you may have to book. Also, keep in mind that you’ll almost certainly be hit with a public holiday surcharge of 10 to 20 per cent.
The four-day stretch also offers a perfect opportunity to check out the best things happening around town. There’s exhibitions, must-see movies, local markets, concerts and live shows.
