Re: Carney Grits capitalize on older voters’ fear of change, disruption, Lorne Gunter column, April 13
According to Lorne Gunter, older voters are willing to overlook the Liberals’ track record because no change is less scary than the real change promised by the Conservatives. (Baloney.)
How Gunter came to that conclusion is beyond me. I think he just made it up. (Might be his age.)
Canadians voting for Mark Carney will be those who will always vote for the Liberals even if Mickey Mouse is their candidate.
Age will have nothing to do with who wins.

GOT CAUGHT, NOT CARRIED AWAY
Re: Liberals say staff ‘regrettably got carried away’ with button stunt, online, April 13
The Liberals’ only regret is getting caught placing “Stop the Steal” buttons at Conservative events to try to trick voters into believing Pierre Poilievre is using terminology just like Donald Trump.

Mark Carney, who continually appears totally devoid of original ideas, keeps poaching most of Poilievre’s policies. However, it is very unlikely that Poilievre’s plan to go after tax havens being used by Canadians to avoid paying taxes will be borrowed by Carney.
In every federal election, the Liberals always try to scare voters into voting for them. This time it is a desperate effort to shift the blame for the last decade of economic ruin from the Trudeau-Carney financial policies to Orange Man bad.

TRYING TO TRICK US AGAIN
This one is hard to believe. Certain Canadians are giving the Liberals credit for the drop in the price at the gas pumps because they got rid of their useless carbon tax.
The Conservatives have been telling the Liberals for years to get rid of it because it was causing financial difficulties for millions of Canadians.
The Liberals knew if they didn’t get rid of it, their party would go down the toilet. We can only hope that the majority of Canadians don’t fall for another Liberal trick.
