Mark Carney’s use of the hockey “elbows up” analogy didn’t work out so well against Donald Trump after all. He’s now skating on thin ice.

From what I’ve seen, it looks like he went into the corner with Trump, got flattened, lost his jock strap and crawled back to the bench.
Now, with time running out, he wants to rag the puck and score. With no goalie or defence, the only scoring he’s doing is into his own net.
I think it’s time Canada iced a new team and got some respect back.

NO WONDER JOBS SCARCE
While listening and reading about the high youth unemployment rate, missing was a large reason why. Oh, they go on about tariffs and other nonsense, but never a mention about the doubling of foreign workers being let into the country. And then there’s the wage subsidies given to businesses for hiring newcomers.

It’s no wonder our kids can’t find jobs. All levels of government need to start putting Canadians first.

If the government wants to save some real money, it would discontinue bonuses for executives who don’t achieve the results expected of them and issue pink slips to those who consistently fail to achieve them.
Leave the ones who do the actual work alone, and apply this to all departments.

The Crown Royal bottling plant is moving some of its operations to the U.S. I can see it now, Canadians will be quick to blame President Donald Trump.

Trump isn’t the problem, folks; it’s a decade of horrible Liberal policy that’s making it impossible for businesses to survive here.
You can thank all Liberal voters and add in Doug Ford’s cheerleading of Mark Carney for this mess. When will voters elect a government that actually wants Canada to prosper?
