Donald TACO, through his inane tariff war, is effectively boycotting Canadian-made products and resources. It’s funny, however, that he can’t wrap his head around the concept that, in response, Canada is equally entitled to boycott U.S. products.
Further, he is incapable of maintaining silence regarding his insults. He calls our reaction to his bully tactics “nasty.” I suggest the only things that are nasty are his ignorance and arrogant attitude that only things American matter, that the rest of the world should bow and worship at the altar of Saint Donny.
Perhaps the thing we should boycott to drive home a forceful message of Canadian disgust is his ambassador. It is time to send Pete Hoekstra packing until the Donald acts more respectfully.

Unfortunately, Trump is Trump and he is never going to change. Given that truth, why do Mark Carney et al keep trying to pacify him in the futile quest and hope for a (better) deal? Ain’t gonna happen!

EV ADS RUN SHORT ON FACTS
I’ve noticed the ads for electric vehicles state things similar to “up to 530 km range.” I assume they mean with one lightweight driver, on a clear, warm day, no AC or lights or cargo and on a nice level, smooth road, no red lights and no traffic tie-ups.
I think it would be nice (and truthful) if they gave the maximum range in a vehicle that is carrying four overweight men, with a cargo of 100 pounds in the rear, on a -30 C night with heaters and fans on full blast, wipers going and headlights on, radio playing and facing a good headwind, with heavy traffic on rough roads to boot.

It’s bad enough that a “pit stop” for electric vehicles is measured in hours instead of the minutes it takes to refuel traditional vehicles. Let’s get some full disclosure in their advertising. They should at least give an “average” expected distance.
