So far they have accomplished nothing except to blame Donald Trump or bash Pierre Poilievre for their absolute total incompetence.

The Liberals have had a free ride for months now. Canadians must demand total accountability and transparency from the Liberals for every tax dollar they intend to spend in the budget, and they also need to reveal the exact amount of the current national deficit.

KIRK WILL BE MISSED

The world has lost so much with the killing of Christian conservative Charlie Kirk. Rest in peace. You will be missed.

CAN’T HELP THEMSELVES

Kirk’s views, although I might not agree with all of them, were anti-woke, and that is just unacceptable to many on the left side of the spectrum.

ANOTHER NEEDLESS DEATH

Once again, the U.S. is rocked by a tragic, senseless shooting and needless death. Condolences and sympathy to the family, friends and associates of Charlie Kirk.

Numerous politicians and other public figures condemn the violence, decry the human carnage, offer thoughts and prayers to the surviving relatives and say Americans must change, with variations of “this is not who we are”.

Without detracting from the recent tragedy however, it is sadly exactly who you are. Witness several presidential assassinations, additional failed attempts, mass shootings at schools, concerts, gay nightclubs. The list goes on.

We hear multitudinous expressions of concern and a need to “do something” after every mass shooting and even after single-shooting deaths. Yet nothing changes. Despite the pseudo concern, no politician or other influential figure has the fortitude to initiate any effort to challenge and remove the constitutional right to bear arms. Considering the reasons for its provenance, it’s now an archaic provision no longer necessary or desirable in modern America.

Unless and until severe measures are taken to rein in guns, better control acquisition and restrict ownership, this isn’t a cold, cruel statement but a clear truth — you’ll continue being precisely what you are, a violent, gun-crazed society suffering needless losses and heartache.
