STRONG WORK ETHIC A MUST

The only thing I will say to that is, if this is the path you are considering for yourself or encouraging your child to take, be forewarned that a strong work ethic is paramount. Anyone can learn a trade, but not everyone can learn how to work if it has not been instilled in them in their early years.

Even with AI on the verge of replacing many paper-pusher jobs, to the best of my knowledge it still can’t swing a hammer or pull wire.

WHY DID SUN CALL HIM ABRASIVE?

Re: ‘Quiet coup’ fuels cynicism with voters, editorial, Dec. 18

The above editorial comments accurately on the serious issues raised in the recent defections to the Carney Liberals, most shockingly by an MP who partied enthusiastically with the party he campaigned for before switching and partying with the Liberals the next night. Michael Ma deserves to be pilloried for such duplicity.

But why is the Sun calling Pierre Poilievre’s style abrasive? Has the editorial board become so woke that a clearly masculine voice speaking directly and with clarity — not cautiously or evasively — is deemed abrasive?

If I want woke sensitivity, I can find it in plenty of other places.
