Hamilton Police have charged a youth with multiple offences for allegedly violating court-ordered release conditions.

Cops say on Wednesday around 2:50 p.m., the youth, who had been ordered to remain in his residence daily, was seen at a store near the area of Wentworth Street and Main Street.
Police say he was arrested and searched, with officers allegedly discovering a fully loaded handgun, seven grams of fentanyl, 24 grams of crack cocaine, 46 grams of powder cocaine, and a large amount of money consistent with drug trafficking.
The youth will now go before the courts on 10 charges, including two counts of fail to comply with release order, one each of breach probation – youth and possession contrary to order.
Other charges are two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl and cocaine, proceeds of crime over $5,000 and three firearms-related charges.
