‘I’m blowing all my savings’ Jennifer Zamparelli getting ready to escape Ireland post-DWTS

Doireann Garrihy and Jennifer Zamparelli have been slaves to the dancefloor of a Sunday for the past few weeks and are now looking forward to a bit of R&R post-Dancing with the Stars.

Speaking ahead of the DWTS final, the women shared their plans for after the show wraps… and they’re very different.

Doireann said: ‘ Usually I would go away or try to go away fairly straight away afterwards. The last few years I’ve had breakfast radio which has been a lot tougher.’

‘This year has been that little bit easier because I didn’t start Drivetime until kind of halfway through the run. Because it’s so new, I don’t have any major plans.’

‘The first weekend that I’m free I’ll probably do something nice, but for the most part the focus is to kind of bed in with the Drivetime show and keep going with that then hopefully make some kind of nice plan for the summer to look forward to,’ Doireann said.

On the flipside, Jennifer quipped: ‘I am spending my life savings on holidays. I’m blowing all my savings on going away. I’m going away with the girls to Porto, I’m going away to Verona with my husband for my 45th, I take my dad to Lanzarote every year which is a bit of a family tradition now.

‘I’m also training for the mini marathon for Coolmine House, which is keeping me focused on my fitness,’ Jennifer continued.

‘It’s always nice to have a bit of a challenge and that is going to be a challenge for me because I find running unbelievably boring. I’m looking forward to that.’
