IRELAND AM star Eric Roberts has said he’s “overwhelmed” as he brings his newborn baby home.
The Virgin Media host welcomed his first child into the world this week as his wife Niamh Roberts gave birth to their son on New Year’s Day.
The happy couple got to bring their bundle of joy home from the hospital today.
Eric took to Instagram to share adorable photos of himself and Niamh walking out of the maternity ward of the hospital with their son.
Their newborn looked peaceful as he slept in his beige car seat wearing a white babygrow with foxes on it and a matching hat.
Eric also revealed his son’s first name, Rian, and middle name Oisin – which they named after Eric’s 18-year-old nephew.
Oisin, who has cerebral palsy, is a huge part of Eric’s life and often appears on his social media content.
The TikToker thanked his fans for their support in the caption of his post saying: “Rían Oisin Roberts is coming home….
“Thank you for all the amazing messages this week it’s been overwhelming but incredible!
“Thank you again to the amazing staff in Letterkenny University Hospital.
“I’ll be putting the phone away for a few days now to enjoy our bubble with Niamh and Rían.”
Eric’s friends and fans were all left gushing over the dedicated middle name and rushed to the comment section with compliments.
Rachael said: “Ahhhhh the Oisin in the name, huge huge congratulations again guys!!”
Nicola wrote: “Aw love his name! Now the fun starts.”
Sarah commented: “Love that you put Oisin in the middle, the most perfect name.”
Sue added: “Omg Oisín in the name, he’ll be over the moon.”

It’s been a week of celebrations for Virgin Media stars as Greg O’Shea also revealed he’s engaged to his South African girlfriend Jeanni Mulder.
Greg and Jeanni first met two years ago in 2022 after she slid into his DM’s.
They went public with their relationship in September 2023 after jetting off to Switzerland together.
Greg popped the question at 12am on January 1, 2025 after they did the New Year’s countdown together.
Jeannie was about to shout out “Happy New Year”, when Greg got down on one knee and revealed the engagement ring.
The love birds were left in tears as Jeannie joined him on the ground and said “Yes”.
