Well, it’s obvious that Donald Trump is determined to orchestrate who will be Canada’s next government. He said he looks forward to meeting with Carney after the election. We thought it was the Communist Party of China interfering in federal politics, but apparently, it’s the U.S., and Trump is determined to keep the Liberals in power for his benefit. Wow, how brazen. A vote for Carney is a vote for Trump! Who knew? When do we get our American flags?

CARNEY’S PROMISES TO TRUMP?
So, Mark Carney has a phone call with Donald Trump, and afterwards, Trump is smiling and jovial and saying all will work out as soon as the federal election is done. I would like to know what Carney promised Trump to change his tune so fast. What did the 1% elite promise the other 1% elite? That thought has me very, very worried.

MILK MATTERS
As a frequent visitor to the U.S.A., I can verify that dairy is significantly cheaper there than in Canada, notwithstanding the exchange rate. Apparently, strict government control of dairy, which is similar to what communist regimes do, is to protect our dairy producers from a potential onslaught of cheap dairy products from the U.S. Ergo the tariffs and restrictions. The result of this control accomplishes two things. Firstly, it means more costly dairy for Canadians. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, it keeps control of dairy in Canada thus avoiding any loss of control to another country.

WHO STAYS?
My question is this: Which candidate for prime minister will still be living in Canada a year after they lose the election?
Brett Blaikie
Prince George, B.C.
(If Carney loses the election but wins his seat, it is questionable how long he will stick around)
