Peel Regional Police say a motorist was pulling his luxury vehicle into the driveway of a home in the Lorne Park-Lakeshore Rds. area — about five kilometres west of Mississauga Rd. — on Jan. 4 when four bandits confronted him.
Police say officers believe a shot was fired during a struggle. The driver who suffered minor injuries was hit with a firearm.
Police say the carjackers failed to steal the vehicle and escaped in a dark-coloured SUV.
Authorities say a suspect who sustained a gunshot wound was later located while seeking medical attention.
Badar Falah Abdullah has been charged with robbery, disguise with intent, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a weapon and possession of a firearm contrary to court order.
Officers are looking for three other suspects.
