A 24-year-old man was fatally shot in the Albany Park neighborhood Sunday night, according to Chicago police.
The shooting took place in the 4500 block of North Kennicott Avenue around 10:13 p.m. Police said that the victim got into a physical fight with an unidentified man. A second unidentified man shot the victim, who sustained a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Both offenders fled the scene on foot, police said.
There is no one in custody.
