A 25-year-old man was fatally wounded Tuesday morning in a drive-by shooting in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 6:45 a.m., the victim was outside in the 700 block of North Spaulding Avenue when a vehicle pulled up and at least one person inside the vehicle opened fire, striking the victim multiple times, police said.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No one was in custody for the fatal attack and detectives were investigating.
