A man was shot Monday afternoon at a gas station in northwest Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a 7-Eleven at 2153 NW 79th St. at 4:48 p.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert.
Deputies said they found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
He was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition.
A Local 10 News crew was at the scene later in the day as a silver Nissan Versa was parked at a pump, surrounded by crime scene tape.
A motive for the shooting remains unclear.
