AZLE, Texas — Authorities are searching for a man seen on surveillance video stealing money from a Tarrant County business.

Tarrant County Sheriff’s deputies believe the same suspect hit the same smoke shop twice in less than a week.

The first time, on April 12, the suspect entered the smoke shop in the 11000 block of FM Road 730 N just after 1 a.m. He was armed and demanded money from the employee. It was unclear how much money or the items he got away with.

Officials said the male suspect was wearing a grey hoodie, white gloves, black pants, and black and white sneakers.

The second time, on April 18, the suspect walked into the Top Smoke Shop wearing similar clothes during the previous robbery, officials said. This time, officials say he opened fire inside the business and left with handfuls of cash.

Surveillance video showed the armed suspect firing a few times towards the wall, and then, as the clerk is placing bills on the counter, he shot one round right near the surveillance camera.

At one point, the suspect walked to the back of the business before he took off. The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect is considered armed and dangerous, and if you see him, to call police immediately.

This is a developing story. WFAA will provide updates once they become available.
