Popcorn over the fire, chili, carols, cocoa, horse rides, museum coffee and more was in full regalia to kick off the Christmas season.

The community open its arms to the region – the Pouce Coupe community church slung the homemade chili and hot dogs – while the Jones Horse drawn wagon rides took riders through the village and into the past. Les Dayus and the Pouce Coupe Museum team brought the hot chocolate, the donuts, and all kinds of history.

It was a hot line up for children and youth crafts at the Pouce Coupe firehall, hosted by the Pouce library. Santa Claus was also found in the hall – before the evening’s village Grinch made an appearance. Hot dogs on sticks over the open fire were available to all during the evening.
