Selections based on a good track.

Race 1

1. Love The Cube has only had the four starts but has a win and two placings to his name. He resumed from a spell with a second at Goulburn when racing well and he only needs to run up to that effort to be a leading chance here. 4. Ghielmi won his second start at this track and then ran third here when last produced. He is showing talent and shouldn’t be discarded. 6. Listins Lass was heavily backed at big odds at Scone last time out and got the job done. 2. Presides has a solid record and resumes from a spell here. He is suited and is worth plenty of thought if at his best.
How to play it: Love The Cube to win.

Race 2

1. Moonlight Gambler has had two starts and ran well on debut when finishing third, before a fifth at Canberra on the Acton track. He resumes here and looks set to run well on the back of a couple of solid trials. 2. Faceoff has been unplaced in each of his two starts, but he’s shown enough talent to be rated a chance here. 9. Tiffy is yet to figure in the placings in her career, but she has shown enough potential to be given a hope. 4. Anne was placed on debut at Hawkesbury, and she can show up again here with a repeat of that effort.
How to play it: Moonlight Gambler to win.

Race 3

3. Call Me Son made his debut at Hawkesbury when well in the market and was midfield. He had a solid grounding with a number of trials leading into that and looks primed to run well here. 2. Strawberry Impact made his debut with a close-up effort at Newcastle, and if he can run up to that effort, he should be hard to hold out again. 6. Khant Fail has been placed in two of her four starts and has had two trials leading into this first-up run. She looks set to run well. 8. Hell Of A Fox has three placings from nine starts and she only needs to have maintained her best form to be a leading
contender here.
How to play it: Call Me Son to win.

Race 4

2. Fast Track is a well-bred filly on debut here, and she’s had a number of trials leading into this. She won the latest of them at Randwick and looks poised to run well here. 6. Seastraand ran second on debut at Newcastle on the back of three trials, and she should be ready to run well again. 5. Lira looked good in two trials before making her debut with a third at Hawkesbury when starting favourite. 1. Now Is The Hour has not been disgraced in any of his three starts and warrants respect again.
How to play it: Fast Track to win.

Race 5

7. Written Scandal ran second on debut at Hawkesbury and then resumed last time out with a solid win at Wyong when starting favourite. She looks to be a talented filly and should be primed to run well. 2. Shirvington was midfield on debut at Newcastle and then resumed with a win at Wyong last month. He’s a talented type that warrants respect. 3. Threatening has only missed a place once from eight starts and resumed with a solid third at Wyong. 8. Our Little Star won well at Hawkesbury last time out and could go in with the job despite the wide gate.
How to play it: Written Scandal to win.

Race 6

6. Clubman was a winner at Canberra on debut and then had two trials before resuming with a second at Scone last month. He looks to have plenty of upside and should be hard to hold out. 8. Djapana has been racing consistently and comes into this on the back of a last-start win at this track. Racing well enough to give this a shake. 5. Our Uptown Girl was placed at Warwick Farm when resuming from a spell and then scored a last-start win at Newcastle when justifying short-priced favouritism. 4. Longinus fought on well at Scone when resuming.
How to play it: Clubman to win.

Race 7

4. Aunty Rene has won three races from 12 starts, and despite resuming from a spell here and being better over longer, she should be primed to run well on the back of two solid trials. Should sprint well fresh. 5. Craving Magic wasn’t disgraced when midfield in the SERA Country Championships event at Nowra just over a week ago. He’s a talented galloper that has claims here. 3. Interjection has only had five starts but has had two wins and three placings. He’s had two trials leading into this and should be primed to run well. 1. Code In Time has a great record with four wins and six seconds from 14 starts and can run well again here if he’s at his best.
How to play it: Aunty Rene each way.
