Petmania, Ireland’s leading pet care specialist, has officially launched its ninth annual Operation TransPAWmation campaign, designed to empower pet owners to provide the best possible care for their beloved pets.

There’s a wealth of knowledge out there about pet health, and oftentimes it can be overwhelming; Petmania has you covered with free access to personalised pet care advice helping to identify small changes that can have a big impact on your pet’s health and wellbeing.

Petmania’s 2025 Operation TransPAWmation campaign was unveiled at the Dot Theatre with an engaging panel discussion with panelists Bobby Ortiz, who is a veterinary expert, Petmania’s Operations Manager, Antoinette Long, Petmania’s Grooming Specialist Tara Murphy, and Damien Hanley, from Agria Pet Insurance, delivering actionable insights to an enthusiastic audience of pet owners and their furry friends.

The 2025 programme focuses on five key areas of everyday pet wellness: Optimum Nutrition, Treating with Function, Everyday Health Care, Grooming and Exercise and Play.

Petmania’s pet care experts are paws-itively teeming with knowledge on each of these issues, and they’re available at stores nationwide to assist pet owners.

Weight and Body Condition Score checks are also available in-store for dogs and cats, as well as walk-in microchipping events throughout February and March.

According to research carried out by Agria Pet Insurance, 78 per cent of dog owners and 76 per cent of cat owners turn to their vet as their first source of guidance, which isn’t always feasible.

Fur-tunately, Petmania’s Operation TransPAWmation bridges this gap through its accessible, expert-led advice and resources tailored to every pet’s needs.

Since its inception in 2017, it has helped almost 10,000 pet owners improve their pets wellbeing.
